Childhood Memory:

When we were young, we used to play hide and seek in my backyard.

I was always the one hiding while you were always the one looking for me.

And you know what?

You did find me.

Every single time.

Wherever I hid....

Life then was simple as that. No complications. No twists in the story.

Thinking about what we were, I realized I left bread crumbs along the way. Just small clues. Simple hints.

Like how I managed to leave small giggles, shakes behind the garbage can (that was never a good place to hide), any sound just to let you know I was there.

It's not that I never had faith in you...

But it's because I needed you to find me.

But that was then and this is now. We grew up and life happened.

Wild, young, and free doesn't cut it anymore.

What's worse is that our roles have changed.

No matter how loud, how visible, how obvious I am.... you never came.

So I went out looking for you... hoping that you left bread crumbs too...

But you never did.

Like you didn't want me to find you.

Like you didn't want to be found.
