It got better when I went to university and met my roommate who became my first ever best friend.

He was perfect. We would talk about everything and nothing at the same time. We would stay up until the sun rise having movie nights and then regretting it at our 6am classes the next day. We would prank our friends and have the times of our life. Everyone said we should be together. We both coughed awkwardly. I was loving life but I was terrified. I didn't want him to like me that way.
