On another day,
we were sent on a peace
keeping mission.
The General called it
Operation: Salvation;
Code name: Save Dave.
I got my gear tight and gave
orders to my men;
soon, we were ready to leave.
We arrived early noon,
the time the sun basked in her
glory.
We saw men of purple race;
but they were not sane,
they were all mad.
I saw blind men who thought
they could see;
wise men who were greatly
foolish,
bulky men painting beasts
on their bodies.
men working heat on their
own phallus,
some working heat on their
fellow mens';
women licking from
each others honey pots,
beasts and men working
heat on themselves;
I saw men bowing before
their gadgets,
letting it control their lives,
I saw mad half-naked
women
walking on the streets;
what I saw last amazed me,
the natives thought they
were all in peace;
Alas, it was their illusion;
they were all mad,
and damned.
