From Jerilee Kaye:

I never imagined this book would reach the number of reads that it has now.  I was really overwhelmed with your support and your comments.

And I never expected that each and everyone of you would LOVE Adam!  Yes, I got thousands of requests for his story.  And I'm listening.  Though it may take a little while because I want to write this properly, I'd like you to know that I AM writing Adam's story.  Yes, you would have all the characters back.  Nicole, John, Dannie and of course Ryder and Astrid.

This story would immediately continue after Ryder's and Astrid's wedding.  Will there be a baby?  Maybe... but in the later parts.  RIght now, they're just on a honeymoon remember?

If you read this book, you would notice that Paris was supposed to be 12 years younger than Ryder.  I changed that in the edited version.  I made her only about 5 years younger.  She would be about 25 years old.

And now, as proof that I am writing this story, here's a little sneak peak.  I don't know when I'll be finishing.  I want to make sure I write this well.  And right now, I'm editing KISA for publishing, hard copy, hopefully.

Again, thank you all for your wonderful support!  I love you all!  SOrry, I didn't edit this so excuse the errors.

TAMING A PRINCESS

CHAPTER 1

Adam Ackers sat on Mr. Van Woodsen’s office.  He looked at his clock.  The man was thirty minutes late.  He would be late for his date.  But he needed this deal.  Not for himself.  But for his father, who is currently fighting for his life in the hospital.

He took his phone and started typing a message.

Might be a bit late.  You can start appetizer without me.  I’m sorry.  Would be there as soon as I can.

Then he scrolled through his phone book until he found Nicole’s number.

A minute later, she replied.

Don’t worry.  I’m running late too.  Just got off a meeting with a witch bride from hell.

Adam smiled.  He liked his friendship with Nicole.  She was sensible.  She has a serene personality.  And she was in love with her best friend.  So Adam knows she will not try to flirt with him or go to bed with him.  She’s safe.  If only John knew how lucky he was.  Nicole would make a good wife someday.  At least that’s what Adam thought.

Finally, the door opened and Mr. Van Woodsen entered the room.  Although they are now related to the Van Woodsens, Adam refused to use Astrid as his trump card.  He would prove to his father that on his own, he could win back this account.

Adam didn’t even call Ryder about the expiring contracts his father’s company has with the Van Woodsens Group.  Ryder’s father is still the President.  The old man would be the one to sign with them.  He wanted to do this as professionally as possible.

“Mr. Ackers.”  Mr. Van Woodsen addressed him.

Adam stood up from his seat.  “Mr. Van Woodsen.”  He extended his hand and the older man shook it.  Then he motioned for him to take a seat again.

Mr. Van Woodsen stared at him for a while and then he said,  “I know why you’re here.  My contracts would be expiring soon.  It’s worth a couple of millions.”  He looked at him as if he was sizing him up.  “I trust your father, but why should I trust you?”
