Chapter 4: I know your secret
(Harm's POV)
We were hanging out in the living room sipping cranberry apple juice, my favorite juice of all time. "I know your secret." Tina said suddenly in a creepy voice causing me to jump, thank god I had put my juice down on the table. "Dude that's so creepy!" I tell Tina while the twins laugh. "It might be creepy but it's true." Tina said in a mocking voice. I rolled my eyes and went back to sipping my juice till the cup was empty. "Your Mason's mate," Tina whispered in my ear using her creepy voice making me jump...again. This time the cup went flying and landed on the hardwood floor, shattering into a million pieces. "I am sooo not cleaning that up!" I tell Tina while pointing to the million pieces of glass shattered on the living room floor. "Whatever I still know your secret!" She said while rolling her eyes and taking a sip of her juice. "But you just told me my secret," I tell her completely confused. "No you have another secret." She told me smugly. I looked at her like she had grown two more heads, I don't think I have another secret...or do I?

(Mason's POV)
I looked out and saw the kids chasing one another, teenagers gossiping, adults talking, and couples cuddling. I sighed while looking at the couples with longing. I wish I could hold Harm in my arms and protect her from the world. I was so deep in thought that I didn't here my dad sit next to me. "One day this pack will be your pack." My dad said to me while I turned to look at him. He looks like me but only older. "You will be a great alpha I'm just worried about my pack." He said and I look at him confused, if he thinks that I will be a great alpha then why would he be worried about the pack. He must have understood why I would be confused because his reply made sense but also shocked me. "I'm worried that Harm might burn down the pack house." He said like it was the most obvious thing in the world while I continued to stare at him with shock written all over my face. "You didn't really think I didn't notice." He asked me and I just nodded. "Well I think that she is the perfect match for you." He told me before getting up to go talk to some random pack members.
(Harm's POV)
"Ok since I clearly don't know that I had more than one secret, please tell me what my second one is?" I asked Tina who had a look of amusement on her face. I have noticed that most people look at me with amusement but what can I say I'm an amusing person. "Oh it's really no big deal, it's just the fact that I know you lied when you said you couldn't shift." Tina said before looking at her nails like what she said was no big deal. "How do you know?" I ask her while she just laughs at me. "Harm it's so obvious, you smell like a full werewolf, and you know that a werewolf your age should have already shifted. Plus you had panic written all over your face when my dad asked you to join the pack for the Thanksgiving run." She told me like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Why did you lie?" She asked me and I really wanted to tell her the truth but I'm not sure if she would understand. I look at the twins mentally asking them for help and all they do is nod, telling me that I should tell her. I sigh knowing that this day would come but I didn't think it would come so soon, the day when I can trust my secret with someone else besides the twins and my family. I take a deep breath before looking at Tina who was staring at me impatiently. "Well are you going to tell me?" She asked me and I just stare at her knowing that I can trust her, besides we are practically family. "Ok I will tell you." I told her before taking a deep breath and beginning my story.
