'Come on Sabrina!' Daisy giggled.

One foot at a time, I dragged my feet up the huge hill.

'Okay! I'm coming!' I panted.

My bestfriend. She was perfect. Full of energy, full of light. She bounded across the fields, her long brown hair floated through the winds, the long grass swayed in the winds direction. I managed to defeat the hill. Sprawling out onto the open fields I laid there. Taking a couple of seconds out to save my breath, letting the sunshine ray down on me.

Daisy came and sat next to me, still giggling. She knew how unfit I was.

'Sabrina...' Daisy giggled again.

'What?' I huffed.

'We didn't get any pop!' Daisys burst out laughing.

I closed my eyes.

'I'm not going to the shop to get it.'

Daisy laid next to me, wide eyed she stared at me was her bright blue eyes.

-How could I say no to that?-

'Fine...' I grumbled, as I went to stand up she wrapped her arms around giving me a tight squeeze.

I headed down the hill.

-20 minutes later-

Still grumbling to myself, I carried a single 2 litre bottle of Dr Pepper. The sunshine had gone, replaced by dark rain clouds. Every couple of seconds, a droplet of rain fell from the sky onto my forehead.

I came towards the hill.

'Right.' I whispered 'It's just me and you hill.'

'Sabrina!' I heard Daisy scream.

My heart stopped, just for that split second, all the blood in my body rushed to my head.

Then all of a sudden, my legs began to move, faster and faster, one infront of the other. My throat began to burn. Just the thought of Daisy being in danger, was too much to bare.

I stumbled up the hill. Stopping in my tracks as I saw Daisy's frightened face. But she did not stand alone, behind her stood a white masked figure, holding a dagger to Daisy's neck.

I went to step forward.

'Stop right there!' The figure hissed.

-The figure was female!-

'Sabrina don't move!' Daisy screeched.

I stopped again, my heart banging in my ears, I barely managed to say.

'Don't hurt her...'

The female laughed.

'How does it feel to lose someone you love?'

Not knowing what this was about, tears streamed from my eyes.

The figure tightened her grip onto the dagger; tears fell from my face faster, I shook my head in disbelif.

Then, in a split second it happened. The dagger sliced through Daisy's neck. I froze. Nothing around me seemed to move as I watched my bestfriend decend to her death.

'You deserve nobody...' The figure spoke, pointing her finger at me; as I came back to reality, I noticed, a distinctive snake tattoo run down her pale wrist.

That snake tattoo became larger; it wouldn't go away...

Then I fell. I dont know where I fell but I did. Into nothingness. Black. A pain in my head tightened.

'No!' I screamed, pressing my head into my pillow.

Dad came running in, sitting me up to wipe the sweat that beaded off my forehead.

'It's okay now...' He soothed 'It's okay.'
