"So anyway...yeah that's pretty much it. I really like Harry but he's with Sophie." I had just finished telling Louis everything...and I mean everything! Right back to when my mum died up until all the drama with Sophie. We were still sitting in the Hospital, waiting to be discharged, thankfully Louis had stayed with me the whole time - so I wasn't alone. My phone beeped and I looked down to see who it was from:
*One New Message - Harry*
I quickly clicked on it, trying not to show how interested I was.
*Mia...are you okay? What happened? Is Louis with you? Do you want me to come to the hospital? H xox*
I heard a laugh behind me, "Trust Harry to be the one panicking!" He smiled at me reassuringly "Listen Mia, I don't know how much Harry likes Sophie so I can't tell you what to do, but in my opinion, you're far too good for him - just forget about Harry." Just then I realised he was right, but some stupid little part of me didn't want to forget about Harry.
"Now then Miss Burns, my name is Doctor Thompson. How are you feeling now?"
"Call me Mia, and I feel absolutely fine now, honestly. Can I go home?" Dr Thompson laughed, "Soon, I promise. However, I will need to contact your parents." I give him my dad's number and eventually he arrived to pick me up. "Mia!! What have you done now!" He exclaimed, laughing. Dr Thompson gave me some medication to take and eventually I was allowed home. Louis declined a lift, saying that he would rather walk, so I gave him a hug and said goodbye. "So MIa, is that your boyfriend then?" My dad teased. "Daaad! No he's not, he's just a friend!" Trust my dad to be so embarrassing.
A week passed and I found myself slipping into a routine, I become really close to everyone, bar Harry. I was deliberatly trying to distance myself to Harry because I just could not get him out of my head! "Hey! Mia! Wait up!" I heard Holly shout from behind me. "Mia, I'm having a party at my house on Saturday, will you come?" The pleading look in her eyes swayed me and I agreed, despite the fact that I hate parties. I never know what to wear, or what to do..eughh what have I let myself in for? I was panicking when I called Lucy. "Help me! I don't know what to wear!" She just laughed, "Don't worry Mia, I have it all planned. Tomorrow we are going shopping! And we'll find you a killer outfit which will make Harry realise he's with the wrong girl!" We chatted for a while and then hung up, next morning I decided to broach the subject with dad, who could be a bit funny when it came to parties and stuff.
"No. Absolutely not." He looked firm, "Dad, come on. All my friends are going..,please!!" I tried for a while longer but to no avail. I can't believe this! I was just about to give up when Linda walked in...great! She was probably just here to gloat. "I think Mia should go." Wait what? "Come on..she's a good kid, she deserves a break!" I couldn't keep the grin off my face, "Thank you Linda!" and I ran upstairs to get ready to go shopping!
