At some point there comes a time to admit my own work has gotten away from me. As I started revising this to get back into the swing of writing it, I realized a lot of things need to change.
For this reason I'm going to end this draft here. I've restored the original prologue and cover, and I'll be publishing a new (hopefully better) version with a shinier polish and more truth to character based on what I've learned writing through this draft on my profile over the coming weeks.
I'm sure this would be frustrating for anyone hoping to read along, but hey it's not a total scrap job. Such is life and learning. Here's hoping somebody is curious enough to stick with me through the pain of revisions.
