Story Starter #8

I'm crying. I'm crying so hard because I don't want it to end. I don't want to be finished. But I am. And there's nothing I can do about it.

I sway with the waves below me, only metres away. One particular wave sways against a jagged rock and feathers and array of salt spray in my direction.

I lick the sweet taste off of my lips, savouring the salty flavour. This would be the last thing I tasted, and I was fine with that.

I drag in a ragged breath and wipe away the tears staining my cheeks. If I was going to do this I was going to do it with dignity.

I take one final look at the water, the trees behind me, the kids playing on the grass and the man staring at me with concern.

And then I jump. I'm falling, falling, falling and I am finally happy. Finally at peace.

When I connect with the water I hear shouting and yelling, but I tune it out. I shut my eyes and let myself let go.

Finally, I am happy.

And I'm really sorry but I made a new account and I just suddenly remembered about this one so now I'm kinda like oh my gosh I'm such an asshole for like abandoning this account completely and I'm sorry but I'm gonna start using this account again k bye ❤️
