Skylar's POV

"Give me 200 laps around the territory!" Vincent shout causing all of our eyes to widen.

Is he joking right now?

When no one moved he screamed, "NOW!"

Everyone shifted into their wolf forms and bolted into the forest. I groaned and shifted into my fox, jogging after the rest of my pack. Austin's multicolored wolf jogged next to me. I sped up to where Josh is running.

Hola! I mind linked him.

You look awfully cheerful

Yup! Don't you just LOVE running TWO HUNDRED laps around the WHOLE territory I responded, my voice laced with sarcasm.

He chuckles. Austin came up next to us. As we continue running, he scoots a little closer so our fur are brushing.

I sped up, leaving Austin behind me. I can feel his annoyance through the mate bond. I smirked.

Two can play this game he mind links me.

He sped up, so he's running in front.

Show off Scarlet and Snow muttered

They both smirked and lent me some of their strength. I bounded up to Austin. He glanced at me, disbelief in his eyes.

I huffed, just because we're girls doesn't mean we're not fast. That sexist ass.

I ran closer, leaned over and licked his jaw. He almost tripped in surprise. I let out a bark of laughter and ran ahead of him.

He nipped and tugged a little at my tail from behind. I slowed a little as he ran ahead of me, his laughter bouncing in my head.

I smirked. Ready Scarlet?

Hell Yea!

I shifted into my dragon, stumbling on the forest floor. I regained my footing and without a second thought, leapt into the air. I climbed higher into the air, I looked down to see Austin running way ahead of the others.

Hey you little cheater! Luke exclaimed.

Everyone looked up. Since the rest of the pack hadn't seen me in dragon form, they gaped. Some even stumbled. My eyes caught a smaller grey wolf falling behind. Judging by his looks, he looks no older than 18.

I swooped down and flew right above him. His eyes widen at the sight of me.

Hey! You wanna beat the Alpha?

Fuck Yea!

I flew down and picked him up with my claws. He yelped and bit down on one of my claws. I winced.

Relax I won't drop you

I cradled him against my chest. Hold on!

With a huge flap of my wings, I flew past everyone. I hear the kid's laughter in my head.

I chuckled and lowered myself so we're just above Austin. He looked up and his eyes widened.

Hey! You dirty little cheat!

I laughed at him and finish the last 20 laps. I landed on the ground in front of Vincent and released the kid. I went behind a tree and grabbed some clothing under a bush and put them on.

I came out to see everyone arriving at the training grounds. I smirked as I see the frown on Austin's face when he shifted back.
