Caleb: You were in Abnegation. Your brother actually happened to be Tobias and you knew he transferred to Dauntless and was happy with his life so you followed in his footsteps.
Al: (as requested) You were in Amity but you always looked in admiration at those you protect your home. You wanted to be like them. Fighting. Not farming. Because of that you transferred. Your parents weren't angry though because they saw the look you got when you were near Dauntless.
