This anger built inside me
That no one ever sees
A single leaf among the trees
The pain slowly killing me
That no one ever feels
New wounds bleed old scars ache wounds that just won't heal
I really hate feeling this way
These are the reasons why I pray
No one understands this aching pain
These tears from my eyes are falling like rain
I always feel like I'm by myself
Just me in pure darkness no one else
Although my thoughts can be so deadly
My heart is still left empty
This sadness built inside me
That no one believes
A message in a bottle floating in the sea
Sometimes I sit and wonder
If I could ever feel
As normal as the other girl whose wounds have already healed
I really hate feeling this way
