Dear Leah,

I'm sorry for just leaving and letting you wake up to this note on the table. I have an early flight and you look so peaceful sleeping there, I can't wake you. I want you to know that last night meant a lot to me. I will be back soon, I promise. I hope you'll be waiting for me but if you can't...Leah, I want you to know that there are no hard feelings anymore. I want you to be happy and I know I'm not making you happy right now. My issues aren't your problem, not anymore. Find your happiness, Leah. I want that for you.

Dear Clark,

I told you I would wait and I meant it. Nandito ako, naghihintay sa muling pagbabalik mo. Gusto ko sana magpadala ng sulat pero matatagalan pa bago makarating sa iyo kaya email na lang. Modern na tayo. :)

Kamusta naman diyan sa Paris? I bet it's so beautiful. A year ago I went to Milan but only for two days and I was in conferences and meetings the whole time. Hindi ako nakapagpasyal. Ang sarap sana magbakasyon sa Europe, no? Di ko naisip 'yon noong bata ako kasi puro U.S. talaga ako. Pero ngayon nangangarap ako na maglibot ng Europe. At syempre, kasama ka. Dahil, alam mo Clark, kahit saan ako makarating, kahit gaano kaganda ang lugar...walang saya para sa akin kung wala ka sa tabi ko. Sana dumating ang araw na makapunta tayo ng Paris na magkasama. Pero sa ngayon mag-enjoy ka diyan. Kumain ka ng maraming cheese at magpapicture ka sa Eiffel Tower. At kahit nag-e-enjoy ka, sana ma-miss mo pa rin ang Pilipinas, at sana ma-miss mo ako. Home is where your heart is. And your home is always waiting for you.

P.S. Sabi ni Kiko mag-uwi ka raw ng maraming cheese. Pero hindi yung mabaho.

P.P.S. Ang kulit nina Axel at Kiko no? Kung si Gabby at si Brent na lang kaya ang kunin mo trahabador sa shop? Parang hindi sila kasing kulit nila Axel at Kiko. :p

Hello from the Eiffel Tower! I took a picture there just for you. Sana magustuhan mo. Paris is amazing. The architecture here is so beautiful and inspiring. I can't even explain it. Mr. Remy took me on a boat cruise on the Seine and just seeing all of the buildings...it makes want to get back to my workshop so badly. I've been drawing like crazy in my spare time. I've never been so inspired. I wish you could see it, Leah. You would love it here.

Other than that I've been in a lot of meetings, usually over lunch or dinner. The French love their food and they love their wine even more. There's a furniture making shop outside of Paris that is going to use my designs to make the furniture. It's cheaper than exporting and Mr. Remy would like everything in his resort to be locally made. I'm going over there tomorrow to check it out. If this deal pushes through Mr. Remy is trying to convince me to stay and oversee the furniture making at this shop. I know Tita Jack doesn't want me to do it and there are probably more reasons why I shouldn't do it than why I should but...I don't know. I have this gut feeling about this project, like it could be something big. Sorry, I probably shouldn't be venting about this to you.

How's work? I hope you're not being too much a terror of a boss while I'm gone. Just kidding. Take care.

P.S. I'll gladly take Brent and Gabby over Axel and Kiko. Make sure Kiko keeps all of his limbs intact please. And never ever let him near Harry with a circular saw. There was one time where Harry almost lost a thumb.
