Myeot sa ri se yo?
How old are you?
Casual: use this ONLY for someone younger than you.
몇 살이니?
Myeot sa ri ni?
How old are you?
I've said in the past chapters that Native Korean Numbers will be used to say your age. This lesson is a little bit detailed.
I've also teached you the ways to say the number in Native Korean numbers, if you still haven't memorized it, go back to the past chapters and read again. :)
In your age, just add 살 (sal) after the number.
Example:
41 years old 마흔한 살 ma heun han sal
51 years old 쉰한 살 shwin han sal
71 years old 이른한 살 I reun han sal
★TO TALK THE AGE
Say the age and add 이에요 (I-ye-yo) after that.
A: 몇 살이세요? How old are you?
B: 일곱 살이에요. I am 7 years old.
(열 살이에요. I am 10 years old.)
(스무 살이에요. I am 20 years old.)
