We leave at 8:30, still light. We say goodbye to the Lesters, who go the opposite way to us, and walk back to the car.
"Martyn is much nicer than Phil - much nicer." I say.
"So are Sarah and Michael, how do such nice people have one great kid and one terrible kid?" Mum agrees with me.
