Gone

Chapter 1 : Clueless thoughts

Ace glanced down at his wife's headstone. She was shot just three days ago, Ace blamed himself for her death. He should have been there, her name was Rosy and she would never hurt a fly, she didn't deserve what had happened to her. Ace tried to find the killer but he was no where to be found. Ace had thought about killing himself before. Hell, he's had a gun to his head before, all he had left was his little girl. If something happened to her, he would go over the edge. He tried not to think about it, but it was a thought that wouldn't escape his mind. 

Ace took a look at his watch, it was early yet, Sarah would still be in school. Ace decided to go home, there was no point of mourning over her anymore. He spent most of his time at the cemetery, talking to his wife, crying to his wife. Screaming at God, that she didn't deserve it, he was unhinged and he going in a dark hole that no one else could follow. No one knew him anymore, he wasn't the man that everyone knew anymore. He wasn't the big man on the street anymore, he used to have barbecues and invite everyone and town and he would just have fun with it.

He didn't do that anymore he didn't try to talk to anyone but Sarah. Aces boss let him have a couple weeks off to get his head straight, but deep down, he knew that this was going to take longer then a couple weeks, this was going to take more then a few lifetimes even. Ace gathered up his things and started walking towards his car.
