Edens' Edge

This is to be a somewhat timeless love story with twists and supernatural turns that bring very different people together, teaching them that they may not be the opposites they believe themselves to be.  So I will be taking great time and care into this story to make it the best it can be, if not for anyone but the characters.

 Prologue

It was an empty, decaying place hidden far away from prying eyes.

Deep within a emerald jungle it lies.

The ground cold and dead no longer weeps

whilst the house sets in dreary majesty.

The hopes, the dreams have faded

lost forever to the passing of time.

Songs birds have long since departed,

and crickets no longer play their nightly melodies.

Wild horses have vanished from Edens' scene

leaving its' meadows in overgrown misery.

A single soul, however broken, stills calls it home.

Some would call him evil, others would say he is without feeling.

Alas, this remains Edens' mystery.

Daybreak arrives upon this darkened,

forgotten world and a new day rises, with it

shines an unusual and somewhat cruel rebirth.

Welcome to Edens' Edge.

A new beginning is dawning

and new life is bursting forth.

But please, do mind the roses they still have thorns.

This wonderful original creation is mine and mine alone.

It has come from my thread of imagination.
