Odell POV

Today was finally the last day of college, and I'm beyond happy. I'm ready to start my career and be with y/n. I'll get back to y'all when I get outta class.

Y/N POV

I'm walking into class 30 minutes late, periods aren't no joke. I woke up cramping so bad, class was not an option this morning. I immediately get happy when I see Odell in the back of the room. He smiles at me and told me to sit with him. After signing in with the teacher I walked to the back of the room.

Odell - Hey baby, you feeling ok?

Y/N - No * pouting * I'm hot and cramping

Odell - come here baby.

He pulled my seat closer to him and allowed me to lay my head on his shoulder. He rubbed my stomach as he continued to work. I read what he was writing as a form of studying. Of course I ended up falling asleep, who studies these days? Once the class was dismissed I left with Odell's car following mine. We went home and he played games and I fell asleep on his lap. As I woke up around 8:00pm I got an idea. I got up and went to the basement to call my parents.

Mom - Hello?

Y/N - Hey mom, I was thinking you should come meet my boyfriend.

Mom - Yes of course, when? And can your dad come?

Y/N - Tomorrow night, I'm cooking dinner. And he's my stepdad, I'd rather him not come, you know I can't stand him

Mom - Just because your dad left doesn't mean all men are bad

Y/N - Yea I know that otherwise I wouldn't have Odell, but him...he's sketchy, I don't like him

Mom - Oh please y/n, this one time

Y/N - fine, but if he says something out of line, I'm kicking him out my house...literally

Mom - Ok ok cool it, hothead

Y/N - I mean it mom, he has no say in anything

Mom - Got it, but I love you and your father loves you so much

Y/N - I love you too, and he's my STEPdad he knows nothing about me

Mom - So you don't love him back?

Y/N - No mom, end of story

Mom - ok fine love you baby, bye

Y/N - love you too mom, bye

I absolutely hate when she does that. She's always trying to make me like him. It's his fault my real father isn't around. But anyway, I thought since Odell wanted to surprise me, why not give him a taste of his own medicine. I went back upstairs and heard Odell singing in the shower. I laughed before going into the bathroom quietly, removing my clothes and getting in with him. He turned facing me with his eyes closed while continuing to sing. I laughed and stood on my tippy toes before kissing him. He jumped in response to my touch and kissed me back.

Odell - Hey babygirl

Y/N - Hey baby

We continued to wash off and get dressed afterwards. I decided not to tell Odell about the dinner until tomorrow afternoon, just a little pay back. We get in bed and just relax. I begin to wonder how I got so lucky and it actually brought me into tears.

Odell - What's wrong babe?

Y/N - Nothing *wipes tears*

Odell - You know you can tell me anything, right?

Y/N - Yes, I was just wondering how I got so lucky to have you.

Odell - *smiles* I'm the lucky one, you're the blessing

I just smiled and cuddled up closer to him. He kissed my forehead before holding me tighter. I'm excited for tomorrow night, I wonder how my mom will react? Especially Odell, he's going to be so nervous. No really excited my stepdad is coming but it's whatever.

I wasn't happy with the college choice so I had to get rid of that. 😁This one was a bit short but I'm collecting ideas for the next chapter.
