    *Two weeks later*

"I don't understand. Why do I have to say my name?" Beeeeppp. "Ok, listen up you feathery dickhead. You need to answer your god damn phone. It's been a month. Sam and I, we're really starting to get worried. It's not like you to be out of touch like this." I sighed. This is the twelfth message I've left for him.
I've had trouble sleeping the last few days. Sammy keeps telling me not to worry, but he's looking pretty damn worried himself. We both call him. A lot. I was in my room in the bunker. Sam didn't need to know I was calling again.
"Please, Cas." My voice was hoarse. Why was my voice hoarse? "We need you to come home, back to the bunker. I need you to come home." Where the hell was this coming from? It's like I had no control over my own voice. "I...I miss you." Great. Now I'm sounding like a five year old. I cleared my throat and rubbed my eyes with the palms of my hands. They came away wet. Was I crying? Why was I crying?
"Cas..." My voice broke."Just...come home." I hung up the phone before I could make a bigger fool of myself. I threw it on my bed and buried my face in my hands."Fuck," I muttered. There was a knock on my bedroom door.
"Dean?" It was Sammy. Who else would it be? "Yeah?" I said, my voice rough. Damn it. I hoped it wasn't too noticeable. "Can I come in?" I sat up. "Yeah, sure." I prayed to god my eyes weren't red.
Sam strode in, closing the door behind him and sitting on the edge of my bed. He sat for a moment in silence. I raised my hands a little and said," So, what's up?" "Well, um, Cas has been missing for over a month now." I lowered my eyes. "Yeah..." "I was thinking, it's time to go look for him. We should have weeks ago." I looked up. We looked at each other. "Dude, were you crying?" Sam asked. "What? No," I said a little too quickly. "Wh-why are you asking?" "Your eyes are a little red." "Hm." I shrugged my shoulders like I had no idea what he was talking about.
"Anyways, any ideas how we're going to find Cas?" "Um..." I thought for a minute. "Wait, um..." I reached for my phone behind me. "I think I installed the GPS on Cas's phone..." Sam had stood up at some point during our conversation and he came to sit down beside me. "Ha! Got it!" I said triumphantly as a red dot appeared on the screen of my phone, marking Cas's location. "Oh, damn it!" I threw my hands in the air in frustration. "What? What is it?" Sam asked while peering over my shoulder. "It can't get an exact location. The closest it can get is a freaking three mile radius!"
Sam put a hand on my shoulder. "Dean, hey, it's ok. We've had less to work with before. Three miles is all we need." I sighed and rubbed my eyes. "Yeah, I know, I know. It's just...it's been so long...and...what if we're too late?" Why was I so worried? "We're not going to be too late. Ok?" I sighed again. "Ok."
Sam stood up and patted my shoulder. "Good. Let's get ready to head out."
