Camila's POV
‘’ No, it can’t be 7 am already. ‘’ I groan when I hear my alarm starts ringing. It felt like I just went to bed, which I actually really did. I slept for 3 hours. I shouldn’t have stayed all night up reblogging posts and waste my life away on tumblr. I get up and go to kitchen. I smell pancakes. ‘’ Mmm, you know how to make the first day back to school better, don’t you? ‘’ I ask my mother and she smiles. ‘’Do I have to drive you to school? ‘’ ‘’No, Michael is picking me up.’’ I return while eating pancakes. Michael is my boyfriend. We are dating for almost five months now. You could say we are the couple of the school. Most of the girls in school would kill to be in my position. Not to be self-centered, but a lot of boy would also like to be in his position. I eat my breakfast and run to my bedroom and quickly get dressed. Just when I was done dressing and putting my make up on, I heard door rang. I knew it was Michael. I went downstairs grab my bag and opened the door. ‘’Have a great day at school sweetheart.’’ Mom yells from the kitchen. ‘’Thanks mom, see you later.’’ I respon and then turn around to face Michael. I hugg him and quickly kiss him on his lips. He take my hand and lead me to his car. School wasn’t fair and before we knew it we were at the parking lot. ‘’Here we go again, another boring school year.’’ I thought to myself before walking to the school hall. There I greeted my best friends Dinah, Normani and Ally. We compared our schedules and realized we didn’t have our first period together. The ring bell and I went to the English class. You could say I was little late because everyone else was already seated at the tables. I went to the only one left. I sat alone and actually didn’t mind it at all. Just before teacher started talking, someone walked in class. She was looking confused. She excused herself and sat beside me. I was blown away. Never in my life had I seen someone as beautiful as she was. She caught me staring. ‘’ You know, you should take a picture, it lasts longer’’ she smirks at me and I blush. ‘’I am Lauren by the way.’’ ‘’Camila.’’ I simply response. ‘’I’m new here, so what about you show me around?’’ she asks and smirks again. God I have never seen something as sexy and cute at the same time. If I wouldn’t have a boyfriend I would say I felt butterflies in my stomach. ‘’Umm yeah sure.’’ She then smiles and pays attention to the teacher. I couldn’t resist but look at her every now and then. Her beautiful green eyes were something out of this world. It’s like they could read you, see into your soul. Without even considering green became my favorite color. The bell rang and I quickly put my things in a bag trying to get away from her as soon as possible. I was just about to leave when she asks me shyly ‘’Can you please tell me where Math class is, I am pretty lost in here.’’ I couldn’t help but think how cute she looks when she’s shy. I quickly mentally slapped myself out of my thoughts when I realized I also have math. ‘’You can just come with me, I also have math now.’’ I could see her face lighten up. ‘’Awesome.’’ She response with a smile. We came in the class and sat together. Teacher wasn’t in class and she started conversation. I admired her beauty. I felt like I could just watch her forever. I found out she was originally from L.A and she moved to Miami because her father got job here. It didn’t feel like I know her for hour. It felt like I have known her since forever. It was so comfortable talking to her. I have never felt something like that before and I could see she felt the same. Teacher came and broke our conversation. The rest of the day went by pretty slow. I saw her here and there but I couldn’t get her of my mind. She was all I could think about. I felt someone’s lips on my cheek and I was snapped out of my thoughts. I saw Michael sitting next to me and smiling. I smiled and kissed him, but I couldn’t help but think about Lauren when I kissed him. I couldn’t help but think how Lauren pinky lips would taste like. I was freaked out by my thoughts. ‘’it’s normal right? It’s just some beautiful girl, that’s all.’’ I thought and hoped, even though deep down inside I knew I was lying to myself. Next few days I avoided her. I knew if I talked to her I would realize I like her, but having most classes together didn’t really helped. I was about to walk out of the class when she grabbed my arm. I felt like electric shot went through my body. I think she felt it too.
‘’Why are you avoiding me?’’ she asks me with a sad smile.
‘’I’m not’’ I simply response.
‘’Come on Camz, you know I’m right.’’
‘’Camz?’’ I asked confused and flattered at the same time.
‘’Oh, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have call you that.’’ She says and looks down.
‘’No, it’s okay. You can call me Camz, I actually like it.’’ I say with a smile and she returns smile.
‘’So are you going to answer my question?’’
‘’I’m not avoiding you Lolo.’’ I said with so little confidents that even I didn’t believe myself.
‘’Look, this will sound crazy and ridicules but I felt some connection when we talked. Even though I know you for like a week, when we talk I feel like I have known you forever.’’
‘’I felt it too.’’ I say shyly.
‘’Then come to my house tonight. We can just chill, talk, watch a movie and eat. Well if you want to.’’
‘’okay.’’ I say before I even thought about it. Oh god why the hell did I just said okay to her.
‘’okay, I will text you the details. ‘’ she says with a smile and a sparkle in her eyes, and I couldn’t help but feel butterflies. I like her. I’m screwed.
