I walked into the house completely silent. I needed to talk to James. I walk upstairs to see him sleeping peacefully in his bed. Better not bother him. I grab a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and make my way towards the door to the bathroom.
"Ella?"
I turn around to see that James has just woken up.
"Oh, hey James. What's up?"
"Did you get your job?"
I stayed silent for a minute, "...Yeah..."
"Well, you don't seem to happy about it. Are you happy about it?"
I sighed and he motioned for me to come over and sit on the bed. I sat on the bed, "To be honest, I'm not quite sure."
"Why? You wanted it."
"I...never-mind it's dumb."
"It won't be dumb."
"Yes it will."
"Ella. Say it."
"...I don't think I'm ready to leave you yet."
"Ella...I've been meaning to ask you something but just say yes."
"Huh?"
"Come with me. We can go out to the park at night. It's nice then."
"James...I don't know..."
"Just say yes." He insisted.
