Dean's P.O.V.
Once i get to the hospital i try and rush to cas's room as soon as possible
but after realizing i don't know where that is i run to the front desk
out of breathe i ask her where cas's room is
"room 119" she says with a smile
i don't say or do anything back to her
running again to cas's room
once i get there i see nurses and doctors in there
i could just barely see the top of cas's head
when i was stopped by a nurse telling me i have to wait in the waiting room
i angrily walked back to the waiting room
i couldn't sit down
i was too worried
after about 30 minutes of waiting i hear a bunch of voices coming down the hallway
i look towards the door and see the whole football team come into the waiting room
i just stare at them in awe
they must really care about cas
this makes me smile
i see the teammate that i was talking to earlier about cas
he walks up to me giving me a small smile
"i assume they're still working on him?" he asks
i nod my head nervously looking back at the door
hoping that the nurse would walk through telling me he would be ok
"dean, do you know anyone on the team, besides cas?" he asks me
i turn back to look at him
now that i thought about it i didn't, i didn't even know his name
i shake my head
"well, i'll introduce you" he says smiling
i could tell he's trying to make me feel better
at least it's helping a little
after he introduces everyone
he looks at me
"and my name is gabriel" he says with a cocky grin
after that we all sat around in the waiting room talking about stupid things
well they were talking
i wasn't
i could tell gabe was trying to get me to feel better
he's a good guy
but there's no way i could get my mind off cas right now
just as that popped into my head the nurse comes through the door
"Castiel Novak?"
me and everyone on the football team all stand up
the nurse looks around in shock
before looking at the sheet in front of her
"u-umm is Dean Winchester here? h-hes asked for you" she says looing around
i walk up to her
"that's me" i tell her smiling slightly
i lok back at the football team where they are all looking at me
gabe is looking at me confidently
mouthing the words "go"
i turn back around and follow the nurse to cas's room
on the way she tells me that cas just has a broken leg
but other then that he is fine, juts a little scratched up
there was no one in the room now
just cas and i
the nurse closed the door behind me
and i look over to the bed
i see cas
he has a cast on his left leg and some bandeges around his body
"cas!" i yell running towards him
i gently wrap my arms around his neck
making sure i don't hurt him
he whispers in my ear
"thank you for not letting me fall" he tells me
i whisper right back
"thank you for not letting me fly alone"
we both hug for a few moments until
we pull away
"so what happened?" i asked him
"ah, you know me, i was being a smartass with one of the other guys on the other team, and i guess he didn't like that very much" he says chuckling
hi smile and roll my eyes at him
"cas, please, you got to be more careful, i don't ever want somthing like this to happen again" i tell him a little seriusly
"what do you mean, dean? i'm perfectly fine!" he tells me smirking at me
"cas, you have a broken leg!" i tell him smiling a little
he always knew how to make me smile
"what? this?" he says pointing to his cast
"this is nothing!" he says smiling big at me
i just roll my eyes at him
then i remeber
gabe
"your team is here" i tell him smirking
he laughs with me
"alright, bring him in, but get ready for heaven!" he says jokingly
"don't you mean hell?" i ask him
"no" he says
"were the angels, not the devils" he says laughing
i laugh with him and walk outside to the waiting room
as soon as i walk out of the door the whole team stands up
gabe walks over to me
"can we see him?" he asks
i nod my head while smiling
and the whole team rushes past me
i just chuckle to myself
god i love Castiel Novak
wait...did i just say love?
