He wrote my name
On the walls of his heart,
Connecting me,
With those charming words and deeds,
Making it impossible for me,
To not love him back.
Deep conversations,
Shared moments,
Bouquet of flowers,
Entwined with the declaration,
Of a never-ending love,
That set my heart on fire.
Somewhere, Between thinking
And reasoning, I lost my heart to him,
Feeling grateful now that I said 'Yes',
He turned out to be everything he had promised.
I close my eyes to dreams at nights,
With an assured heart of them becoming my reality.
He loves me so absolutely,
It's just 'so there' in his eyes,
And when I gaze at those pools of brown,
All I see is my happy self.
Never knew love could be so wonderful,
He is the best thing to ever happen to me.
