Only cause y'all haven't even met all the guys yet. :D Enjoy!

"Alex! Wait up!" I had started to head out the door after hastily shoving my notebook in my backpack. I had hoped to escape him, but when I turned to look at him, he'd shoved his considerable bulk through the crowd and was nearly on top of me. Part of me wanted to scream. I had no idea what these guys wanted from me. At my old school, I'd never once attracted attention from the opposite sex. I wasn't sure what was different here.

I clutched my class schedule in my fist as he approached. "Can I help you?" I asked with an innocent blink of my eyes.

His lips quirked up in a small smile as he tried to contain it, "Which class do you have next?"

"I... um-I..." Part of me didn't want to reply, but the authority with which he spoke made me finally respond, "Physics?"

His brows went up, "Really? I like smart girls." His smile widened as he quit fighting it. He slung an arm around my shoulders, and I was really confused at the familiarity of the gesture. He led me down the hall and past an endless row of lockers.

"Where are we going?" I wasn't sure exactly where he was taking me, but I didn't offer any resistance.

"Your next class, Little Princess." He responded as he came to a stop. "And here it is."

I peered into the room. The linoleum was no longer the boring yellowish color as the hallway. It was white with black specs. There were random black and red squares on the floor as well. There were three rows of desks. Each desk held four people and there were three per row. There was a podium at the front, situated in front of a white board that ran the entire length of the front wall of the room. Another white board took up the entire length of the wall opposite of the door as well. There was an emergency exit in the far corner, between the two boards. A projector hung suspended from the ceiling.

Paris took his arm away. "Have fun." He made a face to show what he thought of physics and walked away.

I moved to the far side of the room and sat down in the back row. A couple other people were scattered throughout the room, but none of them were seated in the back row. I pulled a notebook and pen out of my bag and draped the straps over the back of my chair.

As soon as I flipped my notebook opened, someone dropped heavily in the seat to my right. He tossed his book bag on the floor at his feet and sighed. Was he trying to get my attention? Because he had it.

I glanced at him out of the corner of my eye. His black cargo pants were a bit baggy, but they didn't look indecently so. His black t-shirt hugged his thin frame, showing off some muscle. His full lips were turned down in a frown as he scratched his straight nose. His eyes were such a pale blue that they looked almost clear, and his white-blond hair was cut really short on the sides, but spiked up on top. He had a black stud in his left ear lobe and a ring in his full bottom lip.

He suddenly seemed to notice that I was watching him and he smirked at me. "Hey. 'Sup?" he nodded in my general direction and I could feel the heat traveling through my cheeks.

"Um..." I replied intelligently.

His lips quirked up in a smile, "I'm Kane, and you are?"

"Alex...?" I replied. I wasn't sure exactly how to respond. At my old school, boys had never talked to me. I started a new school and four boys talked to me on the first day? Was something different about me?
