hey yall since this is literally a spy story, here are some terms that are most likely to be used on this story. You can just comeback here when you dont know the definition of some terms (perhaps some of these arent on the story but they r fun words so i added em)

bang and burn
- demolition and sabotage operation

blown
- discovery of agent's true identity

bona fides
- proof of person's claimed identity

brush passed
- brief encounter of 2 agents and quick exchange of docs, infos, etc

burned
- exposed as a spy

cipher
- system for disguising a message by replacing its letters with other letters or numbers or by shuffling them

cover
- purpose as an agent

floater
- person used 1 time, occasionally, or even unknowingly for an intelligence operation

infiltration
- secret movement of an operative into a target area with the intent that his or her presence will go undetected

l-pill
- poison pill used by operatives to commit suicide

naked
- spy operating without cover or backup

paroles
- passowords to identify intelligence personnel to each other

raven
- male agent employed to seduce people for intelligence purposes

sleeper
- agent living as an ordinary citizen in a foreign country; acts only when a hostile situation develops

steganography
- techniques for concealing the very existence of a message (secret inks or microdots)

swallow
- female agent employed to seduce people for intelligence purposes

window dressing
- materials that are included in a cover story or deception operation to help convince the opposition or other casual observers that what they are observing is genuine
