Kensley's POV.

Today everything was weirder than usual..

I don't know how to explain it but it was.

I walked out of Mr. Elmer's class to get a drink from the drinking fountain. I had my hair pulled up like I do at the end of everyday for this class. I had shorts on with a T-shirt.

I seen a boy lean over on the wall waiting. I looked up to see Jamin.

He smiled at me and I looked away to blush.

"Umm Kensley .. You wanna come over for a bit after my sister leaves."

I wiped the water from my mouth looking back at him. I nodded at him surprised that he asked.

"Lovely. Can't wait to see you there, beautiful."

He then walked back to his class that was all the way down the hall. I then walked into the gym then into the locker room. I couldn't help but smile.

"Kensley? Why are you so happy?"

Mara asked pulling her hair back up in a messy bun like usual.

Could I tell her?... I mean she is my best friend and cousin. I'm gonna tell her.

I awkwardly smiled at her as Allyssa walked by.

I couldn't let Allyssa know.

I grabbed Mara's hand pulling her by the showers. She then pulled away.

"Kensley are you gay or something???"

My eyes widen.

"What?! No! I mean I could be for some people."

I winked at her.

She rolled her eyes and laughed with me.

"No, but for real.  Jamin just asked me to hang out with him. Alone."

"Well that's actually surprising. Even though he's a major player."

I looked at her confused.

"He's been flirting with Mia, and Brianna all week."

I looked down with my heart breaking a little. Mara patted my head then smiled.

"Well maybe he changed his mind about those girls, and wants you."

I nodded agreeing with her.

*ring ring*

The bell went off for us to leave school. I couldn't help that I was so happy. I just had to keep it a secret.

-hour later-

I was laying on my bed scrolling through Instagram when I got a text.

I clicked the banner with my finger as it went to my messages.

Jamin - it's time you coming??

Kensley- yea I'll be there in 5.

Jamin- hurry idk when they'll be back.

Kensley- okay I'll knock when I get there.

I put my phone in my pocket and changed my clothes. I put a tank top on , black skinny jeans, and my favorite boots.

I then ran down the steps and left a note on the fridge for my mom.

I ran outside and up the street to Jamin and Allyssa's house. I then walked across the yard to the door. I knocked on the door as I waited.

The door opened with Jamin standing there.

"Hey beautiful. Glad you made it." He said with a sweet smile.

I blushed looking at him.

He put his hand out looking into my eyes. I placed my hand in his as he pulled me inside.

"Let's go upstairs and play some video games. My parents aren't home so we can be loud."

He smirked.

"Yea.. But I'm not good with video games really." I sighed.

"I'll help you. Don't worry."

He ran up the stairs and I followed of course. He stood in his hallway waiting for me.

I slowly walked towards him admiring the inside of the house.

After about an hour playing games I finally got the hang of it.

Jamin then stopped the game and to listen. He heard the door open then Allyssa's voice.

We panicked. He threw a hoodie at me getting worried.

"Hurry put it on and hide your hair."

I nodded doing as he said. He then took my hand making me walk pass Allyssa and Ayson.

Why were they hanging out??

Jamin held my hand until we got out of the house and down by an old park. He laughed smiling as he slid down a tree.

I couldn't help but laugh because he made everything stupid so funny. I sat down beside him leaning my head on his shoulder.

He then looked down at me putting his finger under my chin. I got butterflies in my stomach so bad.

I looked up into his eyes as he smiled.

"Close your eyes. It's a surprise."

I closed my eyes after he said so.
I felt something press against my lips that were soft. I then placed my hand on his neck pulling myself in more.

I then let go opening my eyes with a huge smile and my face bright red.

"That was amazing." I said biting my lip.
