Use the whitespace, BE the whitespace

One DEFINITIVE thing that many designers seem to struggle with, is the concept of "whitespace". If you don't know what that is, whitespace (or negative space) is the space in between elements of a design or artwork. I've seen a terrible ugly trend of designers using a collage design for book covers, banners, icons, everything! It's so freaking annoying and it makes me CRINGE when I see a graphic posted and the designer has absolutely NO DISCREPANCY for using whitespace! The purpose of whitespace is to allow an artwork/design to breath. It's a fundamental building block to creating great designs.

Now when you CRAM USELESS, POINTLESS, INEFFECTIVE CRAP LIKE IDK

RANDOM TEXTURES

RANDOM VECTORS

RANDOM MOONS/ANTLERS

(those damn antlers and that stupid moon cycle I CAN'T)

WITH NO DESIGN PURPOSE WHATSOEVER

YOU RUIN THE ENTIRE DESIGN.

UGH

IT'S SICKENING UGH

Not to mention that all these pointless additives to the design do nothing whatsoever to support its purpose and message, there is no use of whitespace to create a more eye catching and great design.
