My Starlit Night

I hope you will remember

 I HOPE YOU WILL REMEMBER

…(This is a break up poem, hope you like it)

I hope to end this someday,

I wish to find an abridged way;

I know that it’s too hard to find

still I won’t give up fast so soon now.

Don’t promise that it’ll be alright

when you don’t know how it really feels,

don’t promise to hold me when I fall

cause I know it’s just too much to ask.

But I respect your decision

that you are standing next to me.

But we both know -

you don’t mean to.

All we do is linger,

pretending won’t help anymore

we are already late

because it’s time to take a break.

All we need is time

to get past each other.

Now don’t tell me

we could be friends

that we could pretend it ne’er happened.

It’s better to be apart

and not staying with it forever.

Still I hope you will remember.
