Sadie Noelle leads a seemingly average life on her family's farm with her depressed father, overly competitive sister, and best friend. The only thing she has left of her mother is a book she had wrote especially for Sadie, but it turns out to be much more than that. When Sadie stumbles across Fosland, once a magical haven now brutally controlled by an evil sorcerer, she discovers that her book was actually based off her mother's life in Fosland. Not only that, but Sadie finds out she has a family history of magical powers, which she must perfect in order to return home.
