Weird Reunion Much?

WEIRD REUNION MUCH?

Why am I here again? Gosh I am so bored and after my dear mother took my phone away because she thinks texting at the dinner table is disrespectful. Disrespectful my...  

I was cut off my Mrs. Scott a.k.a my dear parent's dearest clients wife  

" oh Tom and Sage enough with the business talk let's take a break Rosalie here looks too bored for her good." she says while looking at me with humor in her eyes.  

"Oh no Mrs. Scott it's alright I'm alright." I say  

"oh phish posh stop it Rose call me Jill but my my I must say you have turned into a very pretty young lady not that you were not any cute when you were younger I just wish we didn't have to leave back then and go to London." she says  

Okay now I was confused I really have no clue who this lady is and she's acting like she's really close to me.  

"oh Jill I'm sorry after all these years I think Rosalie doesn't remember you that well and we didn't really give her a proper heads up on you both." my mother says with a solemn on her face.  

Wow my mother has that expression on her face. It looks so foreign to me with seeing her straight face almost every day 

"Rosalie this is Jill Scott she was my best friend back in high school and her husband James and your dad were what you can say arch enemies turned best friends and well business partners back when you were born we all lived in one big house but then after a few years James and Tom thought that they could extend the company to Europe and places so Tom volunteered for it and they shifted to London that's why we keep going to London so often but well you haven't heard about them much." My mom says  

Okay? I was so not expecting? I thought they were just her clients?  

"Aw Rosalie you have no idea how great it is seeing you here I always wanted a daughter and when you were born I was so ecstatic you have no idea but sadly I had to leave God only knows what would have happened if I would have left James alone then." she says chuckling at her joke  

"Oh please Jill not here now." Mr. Scott says feeling rather embarrassed  

"So you don't have any kids." I ask rather bravely and well to change the hideous topic 

"Oh no I do have two sons but I always wanted a daughter and Sage here wanted sons but anyway I'm hoping you'd welcome me in your life now so my wish to have a daughter would be completed." she says while smiling at me  

I nod my head while smiling back at her.  

"Oh and speaking about my sons James wasn't Daniel suppose to be here?" she asks her husband  

"Well he told me after he was done reconnecting with a few of his mates he'd be here in no time." he says  

"Jill does that mean you are going to stay here now?" I ask while beaming at her  

"Oh they are now that our company is doing good we have managed to place a company representative in London and now we are going to move back into our old house." my mother states looking pretty happy about it.  

Wow guess her best friend being here is changing her a lot.  

"Old house as in?" I ask  

"Well the house we had all been living in before we left." Jill says being equally happy  

"Oh wow that's all great." I say not knowing what to say next.  

"Jill why don't we go check up on the buffet?" my mom says  

"Sure sage why don't you lead the way." Jill replies  

As they leave Mr. Scott aka James hops into the seat next to me and so does my dad  

My dad goes first - "Rose I'm sorry this is all a surprise to you we should have told you about this before but there too much tension on the company side and with your mother that I really didn't know what to do first. Your mother was so mad at me for sending Jill and James to London that we had a bit downfall in our marriage and well Celia (my sister well what can I say my parents are a bit of a Shakespeare fan) became a victim of it."  

" but you don't need to worry about that now we have made plans to get everything back to normal and well Celia is coming back on Monday." Mr. Scott says rather happily  

"We just wanted to know if you are okay with this Rose?" my dad asks  

"Of course dad seeing you and mom well especially mom to be so happy why wouldn't I be happy about it?" I state  

"Wow she really has gone on you with such matter Tom she's all understanding. I'm glad." Mr. Scott says  

"Well what can I say she's taken the best of our genes." my dad says  

"Okay okay enough of praising me go check on your wives now." I say while chuckling to myself on their lameness.

Wow this is the weirdest family dinner ever.  

Can't wait to tell this to Cristie and just as I was about to text her.  

"Wow Ali I always knew you were a pretty girl." a voice spoke  

Just as I turned there stood a handsome guy in a suit wow a suit? He didn't even look that old, probably a year or two older than me.  

Ugh but that annoying pet name I remember vaguely that some kid used to call me that after his obsession with Aladdin.  

"Who are you?" I say  

" Hmm its not shocking you always had a weak memory - I'm Daniel Scott and well I think we are going to be roomies again." He says with a smirk on his face.  

Oh wow if this was one of the Scott sons I'm going to be living with then I don't mind any of my parents rendezvous.
