The hunters were up early. Guardian watched as they woke and packed up their camp in a matter of minutes. The hunters then gathered in a group and Artemis started talking to them.

"Hunters, in light of the recent attack and the newly discovered threat, Zeus has ordered the patrols looking for demigods to be tripled and that the hunter's main job, for now, will be recruiting as many people as we can and if we find a demigod boy we are to alert a Satyr and leave him to be picked up. Hopefully many more sisters will join our ranks but for now get ready for a long trip."

Without a word the hunters quickly got ready to go. Some hunters had been allocated the job of carrying tents or backpacks while others had the job of hunting the the dinner for tonight.  Guardian walked along side Artemis on her left hand side while Thalia on her right hand. They arrived at New York an hour later and the hunters all gathered around Artemis.
"Hunters, the mission is to find as many hunters as we can, go out and find new sisters, we will be splitting up into groups of five and journeying into the city." The hunters split into groups of five that had been decided previously. 15 girls were staying at the clearing to set up a camp and wait for the other hunters. These 15 girls would take care of any new recruits if a group had to many on their hands. When the hunters had formed into their groups Guardian was left standing alone in the shadows.
"Meet back here at midnight with any recruits you have found." Artemis called out to her hunters. When the hunters all went their separate  ways Artemis called guardian over. "Guardian, I am allowing you to look for any demigods or possible recruits on your own but you must be back by midnight." Artemis said to him.
Artemis didn't know it, but under the hood, Guardian was grinning.

Guardian decided that he was going to look for demigods later. Right now he was going to go to his mum's house. He started to jog off when he realised he was being followed. Three girls dressed in silver jackets, Hunters. Guardian broke into a sprint down the road. The hunters immediately gave chase. Guardian didn't know if they wanted to kill him or if they just wanted to know where he was going. He looked over his shoulder at the pursuing girls. He wanted know if they meant him harm or not. It was just as he was thinking this when suddenly he could see a glowing aura around them. It told him that the pursuer on the left was a daughter of Demeter, she was 154 years old, she was a virgin, she was concentrating and it also told him some useless stuff like her favourite food but the one thing he was looking for was there and he realised that she had no intention of hurting him. Guardian grinned as he saw that the other girls didn't want to hurt him either. The grin disappeared as he crashed through the window of Audrey's bridal-wear.

He got back up quickly and ran out the window. The hunters were now hot on his heels and Guardian looked around at his surroundings. Guardian laughed out loud. This was his home turf he had grown up around here and he knew how to out run anyone. He turned a corner and saw how he could lose his pursuers. He turned down a dead end alley. The alley hadn't been changed since he had last been here and guardian knew he could escape. There were drain pipes running up the side of buildings. Guardian launched himself upwards and placed a foot on a drainage pipe, guardian didn't have time to wait on the pipe so the moment his foot landed he pushed upwards to step on another pipe, luckily the pipe held and he continued his way up the three story building. The three hunters tried to follow but couldn't do what guardian had achieved. Guardian got half way up before a pipe broke and guardian started to fall. He flung out a hand to grab at a nearby windowsill. With one hand Guardian held on and hauled himself up. He looked back down at the girls and they swung their fists at him.

He stepped fully into the room of the crappy apartment he was now in and looked around. There was a mouldy pizza on the table and on the others side of the room was what looked like hundreds of smashed bottles lying on the ground below the wall. He wrinkled his nose in disgust and was walking towards the door when he heard something that made him stop. It was crying. He followed the sound to a small room and found a girl crying on the floor.
