1 The word Rhan means south, so a translation closer to the Yilliam would be: ... Rhanians and Rhanians, but seeing that the Ylliam is a translation from ungol (where Rhanian and southernling mean two different things)I went with this translation.
2 Aef is the Ylliam word for peoples, so probbaly Marhebel probably misunderstood the word aef for elf.
3 What he means with this is that they broke free from the state of client state or satrapy.
4 Wide is a polite way of saying fat.
5 It is not sure what he meant, maybe some dwarves married Mumina women.
6 Could be translated as emperor.
7 Could be translated as king or vassal.
8 This could be a way to cover up that he murdered them/ send somebody out to murder them.
9 It is a tradition that any man, how poor or rich, has to give a present to the king. He who does not do that was punished heavily. The king uses this as a excuse to execute the scouts and start a war.
