A few years have gone by
Since he left her eyes
Everything is still the same
That pictures by her side
Still alone and hopeless
That's how she will remain
She kept the very same white house
Incase he comes to stay
Everything's in place
Just the way he left it
She hasn't swept the floor at all
Or even touched the dishes
Her friends and family left her
Because she can't move on
But her heart is stuck with him
Waiting to come home
She picks the phone right up
Just to set it down
That voicemails stuck in her head
It's all she talks to now
She's given up on life
Hopes and wishful dreams
She's giving up the fact
She's lost everything
But she sits and waits
Hoping he'll come back
Just a lost and wanted soul
That loves the guy who left
