Today is Morgan's interview. She's a bit nervous. She took a cab to the adress Nina gave her

The Mayweathers estate was huge. It looked every bit a mansion. This only got Morgan more nervous. She didn't like condescending people. She had met a few wealthy ones before, only hoped these people weren't like them

She was escorted by a footman to a waiting room, she was told to sit down and wait

After a few minutes, she heard a door close and saw a young woman almost sprinting out. She looked like she was about to cry. Morgan winced..

Then a middle aged woman stood before her

Woman: Ms. Reign

Morgan stood: Yes..

Woman: My name is Margret Burnes. I'm the head of staff, follow me if you please

Morgan: Yes mam

The woman exuded authority. She had a nonsense attitude, and looked strict. She didn't even wait, she just expected to be obeyed

Morgan followed her into the room that young woman had just vacated

Mrs. Burnes: I understand you want to work here, why so?

Morgan: I need a job, Nina has always talked to me about her work here, how she was comfortable and all. It was an opprutunity, so I had to try and sieze it

Mrs. Burnes: Do you have an experience in the service business?

Morgan: No mam

Mrs. Burnes: You have hopped from one job to another. This, you understand, is not a recommending quality

Morgan: I do, but I'm certain you are willing to consider, otherwise you wouldn't waste your time meeting me

Mrs. Burnes: Yes, but only because Nina recommended you. She's a very good girl and a hard worker

Morgan smiled: I understand perfectly

Mrs. Burnes: Good. There are certain rules you must abide by if you want to work here. Any relationships with the staff, guests and masters is forbidden. You will always be polite and respectful no matter what. You are never to disobey any order from the masters and mistresses. If any problem should occur, you report it back to me and don't act on your own to solve it. You are always to wear the uniform while on duty. Is everything clear?

She raised a brow

Morgan: Yes mam

Mrs. Burnes: For now, we will take you for a probationary period of three months

Morgan nodded

Mrs. Burnes: You start working tomorrow. Be here at 6 am

Morgan: Yes mam..

The next day she rose with sunrise, packed her essentials and checked out of the small motel she was using for a couple of days. Her things were stored in her parents garage for now

Morgan: Good morning mam

Mrs. Burnes: Good morning Morgan. I see you are on time. Good. Follow me

She followed her to the hall, where she saw a bunch of men and women in uniform, cousin Nina was amongst them

Mrs. Burnes: This is Mary, Emma, Sara, Samuel, William and Bernard. Nina you already know

They all nodded at her when their names were called

Mrs. Burns: This is Morgan, she will be joining us for now

Morgan gave a small bow: It's nice to meet you

Mrs. Burns: The kitchen staff you will meet later, together with the gardener and butler, Mr. Micheals

Morgan nodded

Mrs. Burns: Do you remember the rules?

Morgan: Yes mam: Never engage in a relationship with any of the staff, guests or masters. Always be respectful and polite. Never disobey an order from the masters. If any problem should occur, report back to you and never act on my own. Always wear the uniform while on duty

Mrs. Burns smiled slightly: Very good. Now you have to wear your uniform. Nina if you please..

Morgan: Yes mam

Nina gave her the garment she was holding

It was a maid's dress. It was kind of cute, but short!

Morgan's face paled: Mrs. Burns.. Can I please ask for a longer dress?

The woman laughed, Morgan didn't know what to think

Mrs. Burns: Nina will bring you another one then. Normally the girls are required to keep their hair in a bun, but since yours is too short, you will just have to hold it back. Off to your work everyone. Mary, Nina I will leave Morgan to your care

She nodded at them and left
