*A/N: found this in my old notes and this was written several years ago and I believe I was very young then because I had to edit this like crazy (so many grammar problems~smh) so anyway-be gentle! ^.^

~Caged Bird~

Very often u wish u could just fly away like a bird.

Wishing to run away from your fears, insecurities, and problems.

In reality you are a bird in a cage waiting to be set free ,

A hostage in a bank robbery.

Where it feals like time has frozen

And you ask yourself: why?

What did I ever do to deserve this?

At these times all you are left with is hope

Hope for a new day,

Where you can become the bird you've wanted to be for so long

And finally overcome everything

To spread your wings and fly where the troubles cant reach you.

But dont run away from adversity Because your wings might not be ready.

Be patient.

That day WILL come.

You WILL be free.
