Our hands touched and I felt a small jolt when our skin made contact. I jerked my hand back and rubbed it on my jeans. I saw him stare at his hand through the corner of my eye and gripped the steering wheel tighter and pressed on the gas when the light finally turned green. I started to drum my thumbs on the rim on the steering wheel and slowly nodded my head to a beat in my head. I smiled and started to lip sync a Distubed song. I noticed Johnathon looking at me so I looked over at him at the next red light. I made a face that said 'what?'

'I can hear you singing. You're singing The Game by Disturbed.' I just stared at him until I saw the light turn green out of the corner of my eye. I shook my head and kept on my way to the hospital.

Johnathon's POV:

I smiled when I heard her singing. She had the voice of an angel even though that the song was like grinding gears and a dying animal. I tapped out the beat for The Game and smiled at the windsheild. I sat in the passenger seat thinking to myself that i can't hurt her the way that he wants me to. I know I shouldn't be getting close to her, but I am. I can't help but love the way her green eyes narrow when she's angry. Or when she taps her thumb and her ring finger together when she gets nervous. I've noticed all of these little quirks about her in the short amount of time I've been around her. I didn't have her as an assignment for long. I got the portfolio with her name on it a month ago and I've been following her for about two weeks now.

We pulled up into the hospital's parking lot a couple mintues later. She parked the car and we both got out. She walked in front of me but I quickened my pace and fell in step beside her. I took her hand in mine and walked with her. I looked down at our hands at the same time Cara did. She must have felt the small sizzle that I felt. I looked up at her face and noticed that we stopped walking. She looked up at me from our interlocked hands. Her expression was one of shock. I let go of her hand and motioned the way with the hand that was holding hers. I smiled at her and she narrowed her eyes at me and walked away toward the doors. I smirked at her back. Her hips sway side to side and I can hear her breath leave her lips in a rush. I smiled then frowned. He told me to go after her brother.

I don't think I can do this anymore.
