A Friend . . .
is a word with thousands of significations
it can be a noun with different explanations
or an adjective with infinite descriptions
and yet requires no qualifications.
it may be describe as true or best
either way i could hardly care less
what difference does it even make?
as long as we know how to give and take
and understand each other's mistakes.
it's not the years that always count
but the memories that made the strong bond.
it's not about up to where our friendship ends
it's about how long are we going to be friends.
it clearly defines a simple word for me
a very simple three-letter word anyone can be.
one can guess it without giving any clue
one whom i would like to call 'Y-O-U'.
