You've made me laugh to the point of tears
I don't know what I'd do without you
You kept me safe in the dark
I held onto you and you didn't let me fall
You made me smile
When I cry myself to sleep at night
When I'm done with everyone
When I'm afraid of tomorrow
I think of you
I hear your voice saying the things you do
I remember I can count on you
You're one of the strongest people I know
Sometimes you're an inspiration
I've seen you smile through the hurt she caused
But you always make me smile no matter what you feel
When I find myself grinning like a fool
When I find myself laughing at a memory
When I find myself wanting to be near you
I know its because of you
You make the jokes
To make us laugh

Because you make me smile when I all want to do is cry
