A girl named Ella, who is 16, is moving from California to Miami due to her dad getting a promotion in his job, which made their family have to move. Ella isn't so happy about the move because she has many good friends in California that she doesn't want to leave. The only good thing about moving far is leaving her 7 month boyfriend, Jose. What no one but Ella's friends know, is that Jose is an abusive boyfriend. He always finds a way to get mad at Ella and hit her, he makes her feel like shit. Every time she'd try breaking up with him, he'd get extremely mad and hit her and threaten her.  But will her moving actually be as bad as she thinks? Will leaving Jose be the best thing to do? Will she ever find someone new?
