The innocent bridge,
It's the only thing that fills our gap
Begging us to cross it
But still the distance mocks me
Just two steps,
And we'll escape this trap
Why do you stand so still?
You're scared, and I am too
But can't we take a step,
And make this work?
Still you choose to stand, and weep
You said we'd share an immortal love
This promise, can't we keep?
The innocent bridge,
It's the only thing that fills our gap
Begging and begging
And here we are, standing on opposite ends
Not willing to break this trap
