The pages would swallow me into a realm of imagination. 
Pictures would start shaping into my head until they completely replace reality. 
I’d fall deeper into the book as the story would proceed. 
Frequently, after reading a paragraph or two, I’d pause and muse over the brilliance of it. 
Then, in a rush, I’d turn the page enthusiastically to unveil the riches carved behind it. 

When this ^ happens, I know I'm reading a masterpiece.
