To Paw:

You were larger than life,

Bravery you had plenty,

I'm finding out new things daily

Learning exactly what you meant to me.

You lived a long life,

You had a long and happy marriage,

You loved the water, boats, bikes,

Fishing, hunting, camping, too;

Your strong arms held me as a baby,

Provided for your family,

Protected your wife and children,

Drove motorcycles, steered boats, hugged, carried, nourished.

Your last few years were rough,

I know you missed Sandy dearly,

But now time has been enough,

And God has taken you away.

I will miss you, it's true,

So will your family and friends,

But here's to sending you a big THANK YOU,

For loving us without end.
