TO ALL NERDS

Hi. My name is Katie, and I am a NERD. a GEEK. a WEIRDO. I used to think those were insult, but now, I'm like, "yeah, whatever." I LOVE being called a nerd now. I call myself a weirdo. one thing changed my mind when I thought that "nerd" was an insult. VLOGBROTHERS. no, I'm not going to go on and on about how wonderful they are (though they are badass) but they were cool, and they called people who liked what they did "nerdfighters." NERDfighters. so yeah, I am an effing NERD. I really want to stand in the middle of the streets of new york and scream that. well, I would rather wear a t shirt that says, "I'm a nerd. DEAL WITH IT!" but whatever. I'm typing this today because I wanted to show you guys something  I found on this girl skygurl68's website. here it is:

I added my name to the end of that list. because that is seriously ME IN A NUTSHELL!!!!!! but I also got this poster that has a quote from john green on it. it says:

so when people call you a nerd, or a freak, or a weirdo, or a geek, turn to them and say thanks. because nerds ARE BADASS. I mean, look at bill gates and steve jobs! they were nerds! and they created the two biggest computer companies in the world! (I think they're the biggest. I don't know, really)
