Unspoken

Chapter 1:

Lucy's Pov

I shuddered as I felt the coldness nip at my bare skin; I slowly glazed at my mate's physique releasing a dreamy sigh. I steadily pushed my petite frame off the bed letting my toes hit the cold hard wood floors. As I discretely walked towards the bedroom door, I screeched at the sound of my mates drool worthy voice coming from behind me.

"What are you doing?" he replied inexpressibly, I briskly turned around to face my mate as I took in his appearance my knees shakily buckled, and my heart speed increased.

"Well?" he repeated coldly

"Um...I was going to make something to eat" I replied nervously, shifting feet while looking at the floor.

"Ok" he replied blankly before descending back onto the bed, into a peaceful sleep.

As I walked down the creaky step I couldn't help but ruminate the events of last night, every time he spoke so coldly and detached was like a stab to my heart. Although he was so cold. maybe today might be different? I sure hoped so. As my thoughts lingered I decided to start breakfast, which included bacon and eggs, hash brown and sausages. Once I finished breakfast I placed everything delicately on the tray making sure I didn't drop anything, I slowly approached the door and quietly pushed it open. I briskly made my way to the bedside table attentively placed the tray aside before crawling on the bed and shacking my mate awake.

He unhappily grumbled before wiping his eyes and gazing around the room before settling on me.

"Um..I thought I would make you breakfast?" I said politely while looking down at my hands.

"Did I ask for this shit!" he shouted furious, while staring at me with anger.

"No..but I just thought you would be hungry" I whispered on the brink of tears, I shakily looked up to find his face soften before a flat look reached his eyes.

"I'm sorry.. next time I’ll listen" I mumbled sadly, before grabbing my stuff and taking a shower. I slowly took my time in the shower cleaning everywhere; I carefully got out of the shower and got dressed before heading down stairs. As I made it down the stairs I saw him sitting at the bench eating toast, I slowly approached him before delicately tapping his shoulder.

He slowly turned his head looking at me questionably.

"Um..can I get a lift to school" I asked nervously while playing with my finger. I stood there waiting before answering,

"I'll..just walk" I whispered sadly before grabbing my stuff and walking towards the door. As I neared the door a smooth voice replied

"I'll drive you" he stated obviously annoyed. He quickly grabbed his stuff before locking the house door and hopping in the car. I slowly shut the old truck door before pulling on my seatbelt and looking out the window at the scenery we passed. We sat there in silence until we arrived at my school; he slowly pulled over before grunting

 "I'll pick you up from here" he replied quickly before driving off into the distance.

"Thankyou" I mumbled quietly before hopping out of the truck and making my way towards the school. As I neared the school I felt eyes on me looking at me with disgust, as the day passed I continued to keep my head down ignoring people and vice versa.

As I patiently waited for Kaidyn to arrive, my thoughts kept drifting from the day we met.

Flashback:

I sighed wishfully wondering what my mate would be like, as I sat here secluded from the party knowing it was better this way. Ever since I never shifted at the age of sixteen I had been rejected from the pack but requested to still be included in the events. As I sat here my thoughts pondering on what my mate would be like; handsome, kind, funny, My thoughts where interrupted when someone whispered.

MATE...

"Your my mate" I whispered happily while smiling up at him.

"Come with me" he said inexpressibly. He nodded blankly before pulling towards his house. As we sat silently in the car I nervously asked him

"What's..your name?" I whispered shyly, feeling a blush rise to my cheeks.

"Kaidyn " He replied flatly,

"Lucy" I nervously mumbled while staring out the window. As we drove through the empty streets, we sat in comfortable silence, which I was glad for. We quickly approached a gorgeous one-story cottage, I sat their flabbergasted from the breathtaking sight. I didn't release how long I had been staring, and saw that Kaidyn was already opening the house door. I soundlessly got out of the car and made my way towards Kaidyn.

He slowly lifted his callous hand and placed it on my cheek creating sparks to ignite throughout my body. Lust crossed his face and just like that we were on the bed stripping clothes. He passionately kissed me, bringing fourth feeling I have never felt before.
