Charlie

"Okay, you can't be serious" Stevie grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the dresses

"Well I am, he literally sat on my couch and all we talked about was like...life" I shrugged

This morning Stevie had called me to help her pick out a dress for Harry's party. The news about a few British boys moving in was spreading pretty fast and everyone was crazy about attending one of their parties. I had nothing better to do this morning so I decided to drag myself out of bed and tag along with her.

The mall wasn't very packed. Stevie and I could actually walk around the stores without having to squeeze through people.

My feet ached as we walked around even more, I longed to find a bench and sit myself down. But of course, Stevie wasn't up for it.

"What about this one?" She held up a beautiful black dress with the top cut low

"Yes! That would look great on you" I nod and stand up from the floor "now let's go so you could try it on and buy  it"

She threw her head back and laughed "this is for you!"

I furrowed my brows and nervously chuckled "what?"

I should've seen this coming. Stevie owned about a hundred dresses, why would she want to shop for more? Goodness Charlie, you're always missing the signs!

"I met Harry a couple of days ago at Cats place, he asked about you" Stevie winked and placed the dress in my hands

"B-but I-" she shoved me in the dressing room and closed the curtains

"You are going to try it on." She spoke from behind the curtain

I rolled my eyes and quickly undressed myself. I placed my clothing neatly on the hangers and stepped into the dress. As I turned around to face the mirror my jaw dropped. The dress was amazing and fit me well. It wasn't too revealing, stopping just above my knees. It had long sleeves and the top was cut low but high enough to cover my cleavage.

I fell in love with the dress. I took it off and turned it around to find the price tag. My brows raised immediately when I saw the large number

"Such a shame," I frowned and sadly put on my clothes

As I stepped out of the dressing room Stevie's eyes were lit. She pouted when she saw that I didn't come out with the dress on.

"It's beautiful," I smiled "but it's way too expensive"

Stevie rolled her eyes and grabbed the dress from my hands "it's on me"

My eyes widened and I shook my head "you're crazy! I can't let you buy me such an expensive dress"

She shook her head and shrugged "this is nothing to me Charlie, these are the perks of having wealthy friends!" She jokes and I face palm

"My ass itches in the dress!" I try to come up with any little excuse to try and get her to leave the dress

"Oh, we have to leave it then!"

I smiled and hugged her "really?!"

"no, what the fuck" she pushes me off her and runs to the cashier

.

When I got home I went straight up to my room and took a nap. The dress stayed with Stevie because she felt that I was going to return it back to the store. I never thought of that until she told me though

I wonder what she was going to wear to Harry's. There was no doubt that she was going to outshine me like always. Stevie's beautiful and she has this way of showing it that just attracts every single guy in a room.

I sat on the edge of my bed with my lips pursed, my wet hair rested on my shoulders. I wriggled my crinkled toes and blew a strand of hair away from my face. I had nothing to do until Stevie came, she had my dress, the shoes, and all the jewelry.

My phone vibrated on my side and I picked it up. I had a new text message from an unsaved number.

unknown: I hope I'll see you tonight? .xx

Me: who is this?

I bit my lip anxiously as I waited for the reply. Although I asked, I had a pretty good idea as to who was texting me

My phone finally vibrated again and I unlocked my phone faster than a girl running towards Victoria's Secret on a sale

Unknown: Harry .xx

My stomach oddly began to twist

Me: Oh, hey um yeah I'm being forced to go lol

Harry from across the street: That's a shame..you don't want to come?

Me: it's not that.. It's just that I don't really know anyone there and I'm not such a people magnet

Harry from across the street: just look for me .xx

I set my phone down and took in a deep breath. What the hell was I getting myself into.

I ended up taking another nap and Stevie bursted through my door to wake me up. She began to argue with me because I hadn't done my hair or make up but I was just waiting for her. I mean, how am I going to do my make up without the outfit? Right?

"Honestly, you look like a wet dog this is not good" she sat me down in front of my desk and plugged in the blow dryer

After almost an hour of drying my hair she set the dryer down and smiled. I quickly stepped into the dress and heels then sat back down. Stevie got to work on my make up and fixed my hair.

When she was finally done I turned to look at myself in the mirror and almost cried. I looked beautiful, I felt so beautiful. Shit, I looked like a bomb ass bitch

"You're welcome" Stevie smirked and disappeared into the bathroom to fix herself up

When she was finally done we both went downstairs and drank two full bottles of water.

It doesn't hurt to be hydrated (;

"Are you ready?" Stevie placed her hands on my shoulders and I nodded with a sigh.

I gasped when we stepped outside. There were cars parked everywhere! I knew there was going to be a lot of people but holy shit this was just unexpected

Stevie clapped her hands together and flipped her hair "let's go!"
