Umm Haanee bint Abu Taalib (the Prophet's cousin) said: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم passed by me one day, so I said to him: O Messenger of Allaah! I have become old and weak, so teach me some (deeds) which I can do while I am sitting. So he صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝Glorify Allaah (by saying Subhaan-Allaah) one hundred times, it will be equivalent for you like freeing one hundred slaves from the offspring of Ismaa'eel.
And Praise Allaah (by saying al-Hamdulillaah) one hundred times, it will be equivalent for you like preparing one hundred horses - saddled and bridled - for the sake (or in the path) of Allaah.
And proclaim Allaah's greatness (by saying Allaahu Akbar) one hundred times, it will be equivalent for you like garlanded sacrificial camels accepted (by Allaah).
And say the Tahleel (Laa ilaaha illallaah) one hundred times, [the sub-narrator said: I think he said], it will fill that which is between the heavens and the earth.
And nobody will be able to do such a good deed as you do except the one who does the same (deed as you do).❞
