bump
BUMP
I’m fine cos I’m safe in my bed
I’m fine cos I’m safe in my bed
It’s late in the night when the witches come out
But I’m fine cos I’m safe in my bed
I’m fine cos I’m safe in my bed
Yes, the noises are all in my head
So when out of the wardrobe the monsters come crawling
And pirates with hooks and a parrot come calling
And skeletons ask “can we stay until morning?”
That’s alright. Just stay out of my bed!
I’ll be fine if I stay in my bed.
(Or at least that’s what my parents said)
And even though something is creeping towards me
I know I’ll be safe, though my brother has warned me
That under my bed lives a creepy old ghoul
Who likes to take children and coat them in drool
Then cook them on low till they’re easy to chew
Where’s the light? Phew, I’m safe in my bed
I’ll be fine. I’ll be safe in my bed.
With the covers right over my head
While I listen to noises that creep clank and crawl
And tell myself, really it’s nothing at all
Just…
A silly old cat who got scared in the hall.
She’ll be fine. She’ll be safe in my bed.
