Remember Elvis? And Marilyn Monroe? Those cardboard cutouts Dad borrowed from a friend? I found the picture today. That was hilarious. I thought we would never stop laughing when Dee screamed at the other end of the house, and we heard it loud and clear.
I have to say though, your idea to put cardboard Elvis outside the bathroom door while Dee was in the shower was genius.
I guess the family that pranks together stays together.
Those yams are still going strong.
Well, they've expired. But we still use them. It was one of my finest hours when I snuck that can of yams down to the basement pantry. And Dad's job was to distract Poppy. He did a wonderful job. (SARCASM) I can't believe Poppy didn't realize what we were doing.
Anyways the yams came back, under Dad's pillow. Then we put them in the woodpile in Nan and Poppy's basement. Then it came back up hidden in the toilet paper. We put it in the wood stove last time.
We still haven't gotten it back.
But I know, it'll turn up eventually.
Eventually.
