I used to be afraid
That monsters hid beneath my bed
And creatures lurked in my closet
I used to make my parents check
Every night before I went to bed
Now I realized
That the monsters
Live in my head
And the creatures lurk
In the medicine cabinet
But these monsters and creatures
Are nothing to be scared of
They are simply
The new reality
