*B walks into the cafeteria and nervously pushes a dollar into the vending machine before making the selection she knows by heart, she watches anxiously as the metal coil turns impossibly slow and her bag of sourpatch watermelons falls into the bottom, then quickly wrestles another dollar from her front pocket and shoves it into the machine repeating her routine, when the second bag drops she grabs her loot and shuffles to a nearby table where Livie sits eating a pickle*

(Bailey) *scrunches up her nose* seriously? Pickles before 8 am?

(Olivia) you're one to talk Miss sourpatch...I see you are double bagging...rough morning?

(Bailey) *slumps down next to Livie* you have NO idea *rips open the first bag of watermelons with her teeth before popping a small handful in her mouth*

(Olivia) uh-oh... what happened?

(Bailey) *sighs* Mom is pissed at me already this morning

(Olivia) that's nothing new *smirks* what didya do?

(Bailey) I didn't get up...then she came upstairs like 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave to make sure I was almost ready and I'm in bed so I like jump up and throw open my closet and she is standing right there and sees all my tour luggage hiding there still unpacked

(Olivia) your Dad said you could wait

(Bailey) yea, 'cept he told me to get it unpacked first thing yesterday morning so Mom didn't know and I kinda blew that off so I could do stuff with Sam so I couldn't play that card...she is not happy...I have to go straight home after school

(Olivia) you're grounded already? You really don't waste any time do you

(Bailey) she didn't use those words...I just have to come straight home...absolutely no plans today...those were her words

(Olivia) I can come help you unpack if you want...I plan on avoiding home as much as possible while Brandy is there....UGH...Brandy...doesn't that sound like a childs name

(Bailey) is that the new girlfriend?

(Olivia) mmhmm

(Bailey) ANYWAY...back to me

*Livie rolls her eyes*

(Bailey) so I get here and I'm putting my stuff in my locker and I hear Jake say "Hey B" and I look over and he is putting his stuff in a locker like 5 lockers down!

(Olivia) In the freshman hallway?

(Bailey) YES! Apparently he lost his locker spot when he went to juvie and the only lockers available were in the freshman hallway...SO now he is right there....5 down from me *pops a handful of watermelons in her mouth*

(Olivia) oh wow...that can't be good

(Bailey) *mouth full* nope

*Sam walks into the cafeteria, spots B and Livie and makes his way to their table*

(Sam) *smiles* hey beautiful *leans down and gives B a quick kiss*

(Bailey) *mouth still full* hey...

(Sam) *licks his lips* mmm....sour crystals *smirks* candy for breakfast...very healthy

(Bailey) back off Captain Nutrition...I've had a bad morning

(Sam) why? What happened?

(Bailey) I can't do anything today...Mom is kinda pissed 'cause I never unpacked my stuff ...so I have to go straight home

(Sam) *frowls* weren't you supposed to unpack that on Saturday?

(Bailey) yes....hence the reason she is mad...try to keep up
